Peng Sen, President of the China Economic System Reform Research Association and former Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Le Yucheng, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Liu Dongsheng, President of the China Society for Desertification Control and Industry, and others attended the conference and delivered speeches. Zhao Ai, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the China Economic System Reform Research Association, summarized the conference, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Silk Road Cities Alliance. Qin Shengyi, Chairman of Renchuang Technology Group and Director of the Silica Sand Resource Utilization Special Committee of the China Sand Control and Sand Industry Society, was invited to attend the conference and forum. The main topics of the meeting include China's achievements in desertification control and prevention, the construction of low-carbon cities in China, the development of low-carbon industries in China, and citizen action.
The conference is hosted by the Silk Road Cities Alliance, the China Economic System Reform Research Association, the China Society for Desertification Control and Sand Industry, and co organized by the Beijing Silk Road Cooperation and Development Promotion Association and Beijing Zhongchuang Carbon Investment Technology Co., Ltd. More than 100 guests including officials, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, media professionals, and nearly 3000 people participated in the conference online. The theme of the conference is "Low Carbon China, Go!", showcasing China's achievements in low-carbon action and strong low-carbon action capabilities to showcase the actual situation of implementing low-carbon green development and promoting the construction of dual carbon goals.
At the forum on "Low Carbon Industry and Goals", Qin Shengyi, Chairman of Renchuang Technology Group, elaborated on the differences and connections between natural "sand" in nature and functional "sand" created through technological innovation. He summarized the industrialization practice of more than 700 original inventions in Renchuang's sand industry in seven major fields: "precision casting with sand, increasing oil and gas with sand, water control with sand, sand control with sand, agriculture with sand, construction with sand, and health care with sand". He also showcased two major low-carbon core technology products on site: breathable anti-seepage technology - breathable flower pots, permeable water filtration technology - sand based permeable materials. The on-site guests praised this technology as magical and looked forward to its promotion and application in low-carbon industry practice.
During the meeting, Qin Shengyi, chairman of Incheon Technology Group, was interviewed by the news media and said that the achievements of the Incheon sand industry have been popularized and applied throughout the country, and have stepped out of the country to the world. Industrialized innovative technologies and system solutions can solve problems such as water shortage, food security, energy crisis and land desertification, and have been successfully applied in countries along the the Belt and Road, providing constructive solutions for international practices of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
This conference aims to promote innovation and cooperation in carbon neutrality practices through exchange and mutual learning, injecting new momentum into global green transformation and sustainable development.
